SPECIALIZATION IN ECONOMICS


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including Economics 020 with a grade of at least 60%. Students who fail to meet the 60% in Economics 020 may take a specialization if they have a grade of at least 60% in each of Economics 150a/b and 152a/b. (Students should note the mathematics requirements for some of the courses required in the module.)


Module

9.0 courses:

3.0 courses: Economics 122a/b, 123a/b, 150a/b, 151a/b, 152a/b, 153a/b
1.5 courses in Economics designated as "F" or "G"
4.5 additional courses in Economics, up to 1.5 of which may be courses at the 300 level* (excluding Economics 320a/b, 382a/b, 388a/b)

*Students who have completed Economics 122a/b, 123a/b, 150a/b, 151a/b, 152a/b, 153a/b with an average of 75% and no grade less than 70% may be allowed to take courses in Economics at the 300 level.
