PROFESSIONAL UPGRADING

Individuals who wish to be admitted to a particular subject area, without being admitted to a degree program, may apply for admission to the Professional Upgrading course of study. Such applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have significant learning and/or experience in a field related to the credit course or courses to which admission is sought, and have the written recommendation of the dean of the faculty offering the courses. Applicants may not be currently registered in a degree program, nor may they hold a degree. In the latter instance, the rules for Special Students apply.

Courses will be recorded as Pass/Fail or Audit. Under no circumstances will they be converted to a number/letter grade or be counted for credit in a degree program.
