MINOR IN ADVANCED STUDIES IN EARTH AND PLANETARY SCIENCES

This minor in combination with a Honors Specialization module is recommended as preparation for graduate school and professional geoscience accreditation.

Admission Requirements
Enrolment in an Honors Specialization in Geology, Geophysics, Geology and Biology, Environmental Geoscience, Planetary Science, or Material Science.

Module
4.0 courses:

3.0 courses in Earth Sciences at the 3000 level or above which are not being used towards any Honors Specialization in Geology, Geophysics, Geology and Biology, Environmental Geoscience, Planetary Science or Material Science module.
1.0 additional course at the 3000 level or above from any faculty.

Note: Students enrolled in the Honors Specializations in Geology and Geology and Biology must include Earth Sciences 4450Y; students enrolled in Honors Specializations in Geophysics and Environmental Geoscience should include Earth Sciences 4451Y in their selection.
