Note: All Russian Literature courses are offered in English.
Students unsure of their language level should contact the Department of Modern languages about a placement test. In addition, all students, including first year students, may obtain special permission to register in a higher course if they have sufficient background in the language.
Russian 1030 - Russian for Beginners
An introduction to spoken and written Russian for students with no previous knowledge of Russian. Offers a basis for further work in commercial and scientific fields, political science, and foreign affairs, as well as the study of Russian literature in the original.
