HONORS SPECIALIZATION IN PHILOSOPHY

Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 70% in 3.0 principal courses, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%. 1.0 course from Philosophy 1100E, 1200, 1230A/B, 1250F/G, 1300E, 1350F/G, 1370A/B, is recommended.

Module
9.0 courses:

3.0 courses: Philosophy 2200F/G, 2202F/G, 2250 or 2252W/X, 2500F/G, 2700F/G (Philosophy 2250 or 2252W/X must be completed by the beginning of third year).
2.0 additional courses in Philosophy at the 2200 level or above.
0.5 course: Philosophy 3040F/G, 3260F/G, 3410F/G, 3440F/G, 3500E, 3501F/G, 3510F/G, 3601F/G, the former Philosophy 354E*.
0.5 course from: Philosophy 3170F/G, 3180F/G, 3700E*, Philosophy 3710F/G, 3720F/G.
0.5 course from: Philosophy 3003F/G to Philosophy 3028F/G, the former 385F/G.
2.5 additional courses in Philosophy at the 3000 level or above.

* Students using Philosophy 3500E or the former Philosophy 354E and/or Philosophy 3700E to meet module requirements may reduce the 2.5 additional courses in Philosophy at the 3000 level or above accordingly.
