The Diploma will consist of 8.5 courses, comprised of 12 half diploma-credit courses and 1 practicum session. Students will be required to have completed a series of prerequisite degree-credit courses in Sociology and Writing in order to be considered for admission to the Diploma program.

Enrollment will be limited and competitive, and will be determined on a case by case basis by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Continuing Studies at Western. Students in the program will be required to maintain a minimum average of 70% in all courses in the Diploma in Public Relations program, with no mark lower than 60%.

All students will be admitted to the Diploma in Public Relations according to the policies and guidelines for admission to the University.
