MAJOR IN GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SCIENCE

Admission Requirements
Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 course from Geography 1100, 1300A/B, 1400F/G, 1500F/G, the former 020E, with a mark of at least 60% in each Geography course.

Module
6.0 courses:

0.5 or 1.0* course from: Geography 2210A/B or any university-level statistics course at the 2000 level or above* (normally taken in Year 2).
1.5 courses from: Geography 2220A/B, 2230A/B (or the former 307a/b), Geography 2240A/B.
1.0 course from: Geography 2310A/B, 2320A/B, 2330A/B, 2410A/B, 2411F/G, 2420A/B, 2430A/B, 2450F/G, 2460F/G, the former 2340A/B.
1.0 course from: Geography 3211A/B, 3222A/B (normally taken in Year 3).
2.0 courses from: Geography 2122A/B, 3210A/B, 3221A/B, 3223A/B, 3231A/B, 3241A/B, 3260A/B, 3321A/B, 3421A/B, 4220A/B.

*If a 1.0 course is taken, the module will consist of 6.5 courses.

Notes:
1. Honors degrees require two Major modules.
2. Combination with a Major module in Science or Basic Medical Sciences may allow graduation with a four-year BSc degree.
3.
