Please note that all students must successfully complete:
a) 2.0 essay courses, 1.0 of which must be senior (#2000-4999). These essay courses must be completed through
Western.
b) At least 1.0 course from each of the three categories A, B and C.

Rules Governing Course Overlaps for History Modules Upon request by a student, the History Department will grant credit towards fulfilling the requirements of any History module with respect to a maximum of 1.0 History course taken at the 2000 level or above, if the course is eligible for credit under the rules of the History module in question, even if the course has been credited towards a different module. Only one such course overlap is permitted.  Please note that this does not lower the total number of courses needed to meet graduation requirements.
