The Mechatronic Systems Engineering program is offered jointly by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, and is supervised by a joint curriculum committee. Administrative duties are performed by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The objective of the program is to train students in the design and analysis of intelligent electromechanical systems.
Students in the Mechatronic Systems Engineering program follow the same curriculum for the first year as other engineering students.
Students must have completed the first-year curriculum in the Faculty of Engineering with a year-weighted average of at least 60% with no failures.
