| Geography 201a/b Introduction to Spatial Analysis |

An introduction to the nature of geographical data and the application of quantitative and statistical techniques and computing systems to spatial analysis; models of spatial data, probability, distributions, hypothesis testing and correlations. |
| Antirequisites: All other senior- level statistics courses numbered 100 or above. |
| Prerequisite: Geography 020E. An 020-089 level Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science course is strongly recommended in the first year. |
