Communism and its collapse in Europe had a profound impact on the twentieth century and beyond. This seminar course examines the intellectual, physical, political, social, geo-political, economic and other legacies of communism. The selection of themes and texts reflects many of the current debates in academic and political circles. |
| Antirequisite: Political Science 390F/G/History 498G offered in January 2001 or Political Science 438F/G |
| Prerequisite: Political Science 249E or History 439E or permission of instructor. |
