MME 259a/b Introduction to Engineering Design

Engineering Design is the activity associated with creating machines, products and other artifacts that satisfy human needs. The lectures cover design philosophy, methodology, the creative process and general problem-solving techniques. Students will do creative design as part of the group.

Antirequisite: The former ES 259a/b, 359a/b.

Prerequisites: Completion of first year Engineering Science
