| Nursing 052 Professional Nursing Practice I |

Clinical course provides opportunities to begin the practice of nursing and experience nurses' work in a variety of settings. Learners work with families in home/community living with chronic health challenges. Family coping and role shifts of family members experiencing chronic challenges are considered. An 80-hour practicum completes the course. |
| Corequisite: Registration in all courses required for Year 1 of the Basic Nursing Program |
| Terms 1 - 12 seminar/clinical/laboratory hours |
| Terms 2 - 12 clinical hours, 4 laboratory hours |
