| Psychology 316F/G Sensory and Perceptual Disabilities |

An introduction to the primary and secondary aspects of sensory impairments. Emphasis is on vision and hearing, although impairments in other sensory modalities may be considered. Topics will include: the causes and classification of visual and hearing deficits, as well as the implications of these deficits for everyday living - mobility, education, cognitive development, etc. |
| Prerequisites: Psychology 215a/b or the former 211E, 212a/b, 213a/b and registration in third or fourth year of Honors Psychology Program. General Students and Special Students who receive 70% in the prerequisite course(s) may enrol in this course. |
| 4 lecture/discussion hours, half course. |
