| VAS 234a/b Introduction to Mechanical Reproduction: Photography and Printmaking II. |

A further exploration of the camera and darkroom techniques and printmaking practices, emphasizing experimentation with and integration of these media in the context of contemporary and historical practices. |
| Antirequisites: VAS 230, 236a/b, the former Visual Arts 226a/b and 236. |
| Prerequisites: VAS 020, or the former Visual Arts 020, and VAS 232a/b. Priority will be given to students in a Visual Arts program. |
| 6 studio hours, half course. |
