Sociology 231 Methodology and Statistics

A survey of basic procedures used in the collection and statistical analysis of data, including an introduction to the use of computer and package programs for data analysis.

Antirequisites: Sociology 137a, 138b, and Social Work 205.

Prerequisite: Sociology 020.

3 lecture hours.

Mandatory for second year of the three-year and honors program.
