Thanatology 105a/b Bereavement and Grief

A study of bereavement and grief. Will cover such topics as attachment theory, normal and complicated grief, factors influencing the grief reaction, funerals, bereavement following the death of a child, the death of a parent or death by violence, support groups and therapeutic intervention.
