Course Description

Earth Sciences 312a Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology.

Students will examine igneous and metamorphic rocks using petrography and phase equilibria. Rock types will be examined in the context of plate tectonic setting.
Antirequisite: The former Earth Sciences 311
Prerequisites: Earth Sciences 200a, 206b.
