FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS GEOPHYSICS

Admission Requirements

Completion of a first year program including: Earth Sciences 020 or equivalent (see note) with a mark of at least 60%; Calculus 050a/b plus one of 051a/b or 081a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026 or the former Applied Mathematics 020, or 023a/b and 024a/b, or the former Mathematics 027. Physics 020, 022, 024 or 025 is strongly recommended and must be completed before third year.

Note: Courses equivalent to Earth Sciences 020 are any two of: Earth Sciences 081a/b, 082a/b, 083F, 085a/b, 281b; the recommended combination most closely approximating the content of Earth Sciences 020 is Earth Sciences 082a/b and 085a/b.
