THREE-YEAR BSc MATHEMATICS

Admission Requirements

A complete first year program that includes Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026, or the former Applied Mathematics 020, or 023a/b plus 024a/b, or the former Mathematics 027, in each case with a minimum mark of 60%.

Linear Algebra 040a/b is strongly recommended.

Second and Third Years

Linear Algebra 040a/b (if not taken in first year) or the former Mathematics 202a, plus one of Mathematics 203b or 283b; one of Calculus 250a or 280a, plus one of Calculus 251b or 281b, or the former Mathematics 204a plus one of the former Mathematics 205b or 285b; Mathematics 208a; Mathematics 230; plus one and one-half other Mathematics courses numbered 200 or above if the former Mathematics 202a was taken, or two Mathematics courses numbered 200 or above if Linear Algebra 040a/b was taken.

The Area of Concentration will consist of the 5.0 senior-level Mathematics courses which are specified in second and third year.
