Admission Requirements
A complete first year program which included Applied Mathematics 026, or the former Applied Mathematics 020, or 023a/b plus 024a/b, or the former Mathematics 027, in each case with a minimum mark of 60%.
Second and Third Year

- One of Mathematics 203b or 283b, or Linear Algebra 040a/b or the former Mathematics 202a plus one of Mathematics 203b or 283b; one of Calculus 250a or 280a, plus one of Calculus 251b or 281b, or the former Mathematics 204a plus one of the former Mathematics 205b or 285b; Statistical Sciences 135 or the former Statistical Sciences 255; Statistical Sciences 301a/b or 359a/b, 302a/b or 346a/b; plus at least two senior courses in Mathematics or Statistical and Actuarial Sciences available for credit in Mathematics or Statistical and Actuarial Sciences programs if the former Mathematics 202a was taken; or two and one-half courses in Mathematics or Statistical and Actuarial Sciences available for credit in Mathematics or Statistical and Actuarial Sciences programs if Linear Algebra 040a/b was taken.
- The Area of Concentration will consist of the 6.0 senior-level Mathematics, Statistical Sciences, and Actuarial Sciences courses which are specified in second and third year. Other requirements are listed in PROGRAMS/PROGRESSION in the ACADEMIC INFORMATION section.
