Students who were registered in second or third year of this program prior to September 1998 may graduate under the requirements of the old program, with appropriate substitutions for courses no longer offered.
A first-year program with:
Physics 020, minimum mark 60%
Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026, or the former Applied Mathematics 020, or 023a/b plus 024a/b, or the former Mathematics 027, each with a minimum mark of 60%.
One Arts or Social Science course
Two full-course options or equivalent
Other requirements are listed in PROGRAMS / PROGRESSION in the ACADEMIC INFORMATION section ( The Area of Concentration will consist of the 5.5 senior-level Physics, Applied Mathematics, (and up to 1.0 Astronomy) courses which are specified for second and third year (6.0 if the former Applied Mathematics 212a was taken).
