MME 499 Mechanical Engineering Design (Industrial) |
Mechanical Engineering Design team projects to be conducted under the supervision of an industrial partner. The aim of the course is to develop interdisciplinary skills required to solve often open-ended engineering design problems. Emphasis is on engineering design concepts and methods to meet specific needs subject to constraints: standards, socio-economic issues or safety and health regulations. |
Antirequisite: MME 419, CBE 415, CEE 440, ECE 416, MME 450a/b, |
Prerequisites: Completion of third year of the Mechanical Engineering program |
1 lecture hours, 4 laboratory/tutorial hours. |
