| Nursing 493 Therapeutics in Primary Health Care |

Development of knowledge and competencies required of a nurse practitioner in managing health and injury through a variety of clinical therapeutic strategies. Pharmacologic, complementary therapeutic, and counselling approaches to treatment are included. The course builds upon a basic knowledge of pharmaco-therapeutics, alternate treatment modes, and therapeutic communication. |
| 3 hours theory and 3 hours practice. |
