(Given by the Department of Plant Sciences.) Physiology and biochemistry of plants and algae with emphasis on: the regulation of carbon and nitrogen metabolism, translocation of nutrients, source-sink relationships, storage and mobilization of seed reserves, and photomorphogenesis. |
Prerequisite: Biochemistry 280a or the former Biology 280a; Biology 205a, or equivalent, is strongly recommended. |
