Course Description

Physics 490a/b Industry Internship

An oral presentation and written report on work undertaken during an Industry Internship. The sponsoring organization must be approved by the Department and provide students with the opportunity to gain professional experience. Students are selected by application and interview. The internship should be for a minimum period of eight months.

Prerequisite: Registration in fourth year of any Honors Physics Program and permission of the Department.

Hours by arrangement, half course.

Note: This course may not be used as a principal or subsidiary course in any Honors Physics program.
