Plant Sciences 402a Advanced Microbiology

Selected topics of current interest in microbiology focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of aquatic microbial ecology. Emphasis on understanding the diversity and specific activities of freshwater microorganisms and interactive dynamics of microbial populations.

Prerequisite: Admission to the fourth year of a four-year program in Biological or Basic Medical Sciences.

2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory/tutorial hours, half course.
