Political Science 339F/G Political Change in Africa

This course will focus on contemporary events in Africa, examining what factors contribute to the survival or the collapse of selected states. Topics to be considered will include the role of leaders and the constraints on them and the nature of ethnic, class, and other conflicts.

Antirequisite: Political Science 239E .
