Selected areas of study in the ancient art and architecture of Italy from their origins to the reign of Constantine, with special emphasis on Graeco-Roman mural and mosaic representation and on the Roman contribution to the history of Western European art. |

| Prerequisite: VAH 040, the former Visual Arts 040, or Classical Studies 150, or permission of the Department. |
