Works of representative men and women writers of poetry, prose, and drama. A study of satire, the beginnings of modern prose fiction, and comedies of sexual intrigue. |
| Antirequisite: English 234E and 245E |
| Prerequisite: At least 60% in a 020-level English course, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the department. |
