Course Description

English 249F/G English Literature: Major Authors (Survey)

Works of representative men and women writers of poetry, prose, fiction, and drama of the period. The course will examine the persistence of traditional as well as the emergence of new literary forms and values.

Antirequisite: English 234E and 248E

Antirequisites: English 234E, 248E

Prerequisite: At least 60% in a 020-level English course, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the department.
