Course Description

Writing 021F/G Academic Writing in English as a Second Language

Restricted to English as a Second Language students. The course continues to develop macro-level skills of planning and composing and refines writing skills by introducing language and citation coventions and self-editing for more complex wirting projects. Readings that explore questions of identity and relationships within western culture will stimulate critical reviews, reports, and research essays.

Antirequisite: Writing 020F/G.

Prerequisite: Writing 001F/G, or 002F/G, or permission of the instructor.
