| Chemistry 463a/b Chemistry of Biological Macromolecules |

An introduction to the chemistry of monosaccharides, natural products based on sugars, polysaccharides, nucleosides, polynucleotides, amino acids and polypeptides. Also, the occurrence, biosynthesis from amino acids and chemistry of a class of secondary metabolites - the alkaloids, will be examined. |
