Systematic mineralogy, crystal structure and crystal chemistry of selected minerals. The Universal Stage and its application to the determination of the optical properties of birefringent minerals. Gemology and gemological techniques. |
| Prerequisites: Earth Sciences 310a/b, 330b; and Chemistry 224a or 226a/b or Earth Sciences 230b. |
