Topics include the entry of humans into the New World and their arrival in Mesoamerica; appearance of agriculture and settled village life; evolution of cities and civilizations; development of historic Aztec and Maya societies; effect of the Spanish Conquest. |
Prerequisite: Anthropology 025F/G and 026F/G or 100 or the former Anthropology 020E. |
