An introduction to some of the major themes and forms of Old and Middle English literature, with particular emphasis on Beowulf, Chaucer and his contemporaries, and the Arthurian tradition. |
Antirequisites: English 217F/G and 218F/G. |
Prerequisites: At least 60% in English 020E, 022E, 024E or the former 026, and at least 60% in all subsequent English courses, or permission of the Department. |
