THREE-YEAR BA STATISTICS

The requirements outlined below refer only to students who were admitted to the program prior to September 2000. They were instructed to complete their area of concentration courses by April 2002, as some of the required courses would no longer be available after that date.

Second and Third Year

The following courses must have been completed by the end of third year: Statistical Sciences 135, 301a/b, 302a/b, Statistical Sciences 236 or Mathematics 236, Actuarial Science 153 and either one full course or equivalent in Statistical Sciences, or one of the following:

Applied Mathematics 213b and the former Applied Mathematics 212a, or the former Applied Mathematics 200
Computer Science 208a/b and 209a/b, or the former Computer Science 201
Economics 150a/b and 152a/b
Mathematics 203b, or
Mathematics 283b, or
Calculus 250a/b and 251a/b, or the former Mathematics 202a, 204a and 205b, or
Calculus 280a/b and 281a/b, or the former Mathematics 204a and 285b

The Area of Concentration consists of the 5.0 senior-level courses which are specified in second and third year.

* Students who were registered in this program prior to September 2000, and who have completed all the area of concentration requirements, but who have not yet completed all the appropriate 15.0 courses for the BA degree, may remain registered in the program, and graduate at a later date.
