INTERNSHIP
Academic Internship may be paid or unpaid, credit internship for up to four months, or a minimum of 140 hours. Students may pursue an internship within an approved institution or industry related to their module within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Prerequisite(s): Registration in the third or fourth year of either a Major or Specialization within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, with a cumulative average of at least 70% and no failures. Approval of the Department and Dean’s Office of the Arts and Humanities.
Extra Information: International students should consult with the Faculty’s academic counselling
office to confirm eligibility. The student is required to a) maintain a suitable level of performance in the position as verified by the employer through evaluations and b) submit a mid-term as well as a final report, demonstrating how the experience gained through the internship relates to his/her coursework and program of study.
