HUMAN FACTORS AND COGNITIVE ERGONOMICS
This course focuses on cognitive processes that distinguish between successful and unsuccessful performances across human domains. Processes include sensation/perception, memory and learning, decision making, attention, and response execution. Applications of these processes to minimize risk of human error include engineering controls, medical technologies and processes, artificial intelligence, and product design.
