Introduction to the philosophy of the human ecology professions in North America and the evolving concepts of human ecology as a field of study in higher education. Socialization toward professionalism will include the development of knowledge, skills and values appropriate to the profession.
Prerequisite(s): Registration in the Foods and Nutrition or Nutrition and Families or Family Studies modules (Honors Specialization, Specialization, Major).
