ARCHAELOGICAL SUMMER FIELD SCHOOL
An advanced, hands-on introduction to the practice of field archaeology. Students will participate in intensive, problem-oriented, research excavations and field laboratory work on an undisturbed archaeological site. Students should be prepared to cover necessary travel and living expenses. Limited enrollment. 4 weeks.
Prerequisite(s):Anthropology 2229F/G, and registration in year 3 or 4 of any Anthropology module, or permission of the Department Chair.
Extra Information:
Permission by application to the Department of Anthropology. Students intending to apply to participate in this course are strongly encouraged to prepare by taking a relevant second year area course in archaeology.
