PHYSICS FOR THE BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES II


Fundamental physics concepts are introduced with an emphasis on applications in biological processes. Topics include: nerve electricity, the eye and color vision, elasticity and sound, the cardiovascular system and biomechanics.

Antirequisite(s): Physics 1021, Physics 1302A/B, Physics 1402A/B, Physics 1502A/B, the former Physics 1020, Physics 1024, Physics 1026.

Prerequisite(s): One of Physics 1028A/B, Physics 1301A/B, Physics 1401A/B or Physics 1501A/B.
