CREATING MUSIC IN THE CLASSROOM
In this course students will explore a variety of methods for introducing and developing skills in improvising and composing music for learners of all ages. Lecture, workshop and tutorial formats will allow students to investigate a range of creative musical activities. Students will also learn how to plan for creative music making.
Antirequisite(s): Music 3860A if taken in 2010-11, 2011-12, or 2012-13.
Prerequisite(s): Registration in the third or fourth year of the Honors Bachelor of Music Education
