Anatomy and Cell Biology 3329A/B
CELL BIOLOGY OF HUMAN DISEASE
Students will examine the molecules and functions shared by mammalian cells, as well as the specializations that distinguish differentiated cell types and the diseases that arise from disruptions to these processes. Topics include cellular organization, organelle biogenesis, and cell growth and differentiation, with an emphasis on experimental approaches.
Antirequisite(s): The former Anatomy and Cell Biology 4429A.
Prerequisite(s): Biology 2290F/G and Biology 2382A/B with marks of at least 60% in each.
Extra Information: 2 lecture hours, 1 tutorial hour.
