This course introduces students to the use of archival materials – photographs and footage – in media production. Students will acquire skills in how to find and handle archival imagery and will gain an understanding of the fundamentals to produce historical documentaries and archival-based projects – including narrative, technical, copyright, and ethical aspects.

Antirequisite(s): Creative Arts 3010B if taken in 2025-26.
