THE SOCIAL AND ETHICAL IMPACTS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
This course examines how artificial intelligence systems and digital automation technologies reshape activities, discourses, and imagined futures within contemporary life. Students explore AI systems’ histories, technical affordances, and ethical/social impacts and connect them to broader social, ethical, and philosophical debates around the role of digital technologies in modern societies.
