20TH-CENTURY THEATRE


This course explores theatre of the long 20th century, beginning in the late 19th century and ending at the turn of the millennium. Students will read and watch plays from Canada, the US, Great Britain, Ireland, and mainland Europe. Artists from diverse gender, race, and cultural backgrounds will be featured.

Antirequisite(s): The former English 3556E.

Prerequisite(s): At least 60% in 1.0 course of English 1000-1999 or permission of the Department.
