Admission to this module is discontinued, effective September 1, 2025. Students currently enrolled in the module will be permitted to graduate upon fulfillment of the module requirements by August 31, 2028.

1.0 course from: English 3338E, English 3330E, English 3556E or the former English 3226E, the former English 3227E.
2.0 courses from: English 2357F/G, English 3326F/G, English 3328E, English 3329F/G, English 3347E, English 3348F/G, English 3365F/G, English 3366F/G, English 3368E, English 3377E, or the former English 3224E, the former English 3228F/G, the former English 3334E, the former English 3336F/G, the former English 3444E, the former English 3446F/G, the former English 3554E or the former English 3557F/G.
Note: With Department permission, English 3479F/G, English 3579F/G or the former English 3667F/G, the former English 3777F/G may be counted toward this requirement.
2.0 additional courses in English at the 2200 level or above. Up to 1.0 course may be substituted from any 2000-2199 level English essay (E, F, or G) course.
Note: French or a foreign language is recommended for students intending to apply to graduate schools or professional programs.
