Admission to this module is discontinued, effective September 1, 2025. Students currently enrolled in the module will be permitted to graduate upon fulfillment of the module requirements by August 31, 2028.
Completion of first-year requirements, including 0.5 course from “Introduction to Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology” (Anthropology 1021A/B or Anthropology 1025F/G) and 0.5 course from “Introduction to Archaeology and Biological Anthropology” (Anthropology 1022A/B or Anthropology 1026F/G). Alternatively, students may substitute 1.0 course from Anthropology 1020, or the former Anthropology 1020E. A minimum of 60% is required in each course.
*Upper-year students who have not completed 1.0 courses as indicated above may substitute one or two courses from Anthropology 2000-2999 (except Anthropology 2222F/G, Anthropology 2226A/B, Anthropology 2229F/G, Anthropology 2245F/G, and Anthropology 2249F/G) in making up the 1.0 admission requirement as long as they were completed with a grade of at least 60%. Second-year qualifying entry course(s) cannot be counted for subsequent program credit.
