Admission Requirements


Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 Women's Studies course at the 1000 level (either Women's Studies 1020E or any two of Women's Studies 1021F/G, Women's Studies 1022F/G, Women's Studies 1023F/G, and Women's Studies 1024F/G) with a mark of at least 60%, or permission of the Department.

Students beginning Women's Studies after first year may substitute Women's Studies 2240F/G or the former Women's Studies 2250E in place of Women's Studies 1020E and take it concurrently with their second-year courses.

4.0 courses:

1.0 course: Women's Studies 2220E.
1.0 course: Women's Studies 3321F/G and Women's Studies 3322F/G.
1.0 course: Women's Studies 3324F/G and Women's Studies 3173F/G.
1.0 additional course in Women's Studies at the 2000 level or above, chosen in consultation with the Department.
A student may apply to the Department for approval to substitute 1.0 course from another department provided that the course is relevant to the student's Minor in Feminist, Queer, and Critical Race Theory.
